31 July 1928 – 23 July 2014

 
Mary Ellen was born in Trenton, Texas to Orick L. Duckworth and Corinne (Dewett) Duckworth. She passed away at her home in Sherman, Texas.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish Sherman, was involved in the Columbian Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Bader Sr., and son; Walter H. Bader Jr.
Mary Ellen is survived by a son, Gary Bader of Sherman; one daughter, Debra Cogburn and husband Cory of Sherman; grandchildren, Tiffany Lux and husband Ryan of Sherman, Gregory Bader of Sherman, Joey Welch of Durant, Okla., and Ashton Cogburn of Sherman; five great grandchildren and special friends, Mary Lockhart, Shirley Geer, and Helen Ritchie.
A Rosary was recited by Jim Adlof at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Antonio Aureus officiating and assisted by Deacon Albert Miller

WALTER BADER Sr.
22 July 1923 - 24 April 1980  

Mr. Bader was born in Anselmo, Nebraska the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Bader. He died in a Sherman, Texas hospital.
He married Miss Mary Duckworth on 20 May 1950 in Trenton, Texas.
He owned and operated the Walter Bader Construction Co. in Sherman area for the past 30 years.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, member of Knights of Columbus, National Home Builders Association and St. Mary's Catholic Parish, in Sherman.
He is survived by his wife of the home; sons, Wally and Gary Bader of Sherman; daughter, Miss Debbie Bader of Sherman; brother, Leo Bader of Broken Bow, Nebraska; sisters, Mrs. Irene Butcher of Gillette, Wyoming, Mrs. Alberta Chrisp of Sterling, Colorado, and Mrs. Clara Kellogg of Broken Bow; and two grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reverend Emil Slovacek, officiating.
