Special to The News Sherman, Texas, July 28 - Funeral services were held Friday morning for Frank A. Johnson Sr., 61, president of a wholesale plumbing firm and former Sherman City councilman, who died Monday. Services wiere held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was a native of Sherman and long had been active in the city's civic, business and church affairs. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alfred A. Rolfe; a son, Frank A. Johnson, Jr., and 4 grandchildren, all of Sherman; 3 sisters, Mrs. Will Chaffin and Mrs. Herman Adolf, both of Sherman and Mrs. Hazel Taylor of Dallas; and 2 brothers, Ralph and Lester Johnson, both of Sherman.
