Margaret M. Fitch
15 July 1888 - 2 August 1975

Mrs. Fitch of Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Mockbee, died in Houston, Texas.
She was a graduate of Sherman High School, was a member of the Bomar Cramer Music Club, taught music in Sherman for many years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sherman.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Otis Fitch, whom she married on August 17, 1908 and died in 1922.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles Mockbee Fitch of Houston and William Maurice Fitch of Dallas; three grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Flanagan officiating.



Regina Mae Fitch
2 May 1915 - 26 March 1985

William Maurice Fitch
30 January 1912 - 28 December 1986

Mr. Fitch was born in Sherman, son of Otis Fitch and Margaret Mockbee.  He died at his residence in Dallas, Texas.
His ancestors moved from Virginia in 1830 and settled in what is now southeast Grayson County.  In 1840, his great-grandfather was County Clerk in Sherman.
He married Miss Regina Mary O'Hagan, who died in 1985.  The marriage was blessed with two sons.
He was the co-founder of Freewood Products Company, Inc. and a member of the the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville, Texas, Rotary Club, St. Monica Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his sons, William M. Fitch, Jr. of Ft. Worth and Joseph R. Fitch of Dallas; his twin brother, Charles M. Fitch of Houston; and six grandchildren.
Rosary was recited in the Hughes Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas.  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Dallas with Rev. Father Don Zimmerman as celebrant.
