Ella A. Adlof
1882 - 1944

 Mrs. Adlof was born in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late James Milton Paine and Frances “Fannie” Bibianna Paine. She passed away  at St Vincent's Hospital, Sherman, Texas. 
She married Herman H. Adlof on 31 October 1902 and moved to Sherman on 8 January 1903 where she resided the rest of her life.  She was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Sherman. 
She was survived by her husband of 41 years of the home; daughter, Mrs. Dero Bollinger and son H.H. Adlof, both of Sherman; nine grandchildren Martha and Patricia Allison, Frances and Vincent Bollinger and James, Bobbie, David, Paul, Margaret and Velma Adlof; a sister, Mrs. James Smith of Modesto, California; and three brother, W.T. Paine of Modesto, C.N. and J.B. Paine of Sherman. 
Rosary was recited at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Mary’s Catholic Church by the Pastor, Very Rev. Msgr. E. V. McCullough.

Dennis Gary Adlof
9 June 1963 - 9 June 1963


Dennis was the son of Bobby C. and Marijohn Smith Adlof.   The child died at birth in a local hospital in Sherman, Texas.  He was survived by his parents; sister, Debra Kay Adlof; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adlof Jr. of Shermah and Mr. and Mrs. E.V. Commons of Melissa, Texas; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Adlof Sr. and Mrs. W.G. Vaughn, all of Sherman; and several aunts and uncles.
The Rev. John B. Duesman, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiated at the graveside services.
