Jesus P. Escalera, 55 year old Sherman resident, died Monday, September 28, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas.
He was born August 18, 1966 in San Felipe, GTO Mexico, son of Raymondo and Julia Prado Escalera.
He married Maria Lourdes Escalera and moved to Sherman, Texas in 1985.  He owned and operated Texoma Tree Service for many years, serving thousands of happy clients.
Jesus is survived by his wife of Sherman; sons: Christian Escalera, Robert Escalera, both of Sherman and Mitchell Escalara of Commerce, Texas; daughters: Angelica Escalera of Sherman; Monica Escalera of Dallas; and Jessica Escalera Sherman; parents of Guanajuato, Mexico; and many other family members.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday morning with Father Martin Castaneda of St. Mary's officiating.  Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sherman.
