Resolutions in memory of Bro. J.P. Bryant:
Whereas, Death has invaded the gates of Bethlehem Alliance, No. 952, Grayson county, Texas, and taken from our midst our aged and much beloved brother, J.P. Bryant.  He died of inflammatory rheumatism after an illness of three days.  He, as a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Christ, labored as a minister of the Gospel with patience and long suffering, in support of the cause of his Master.  As a neighbor, he was quiet, meek and exerted a lovely influence.  As a husband he was endeared to his family.  As a member of the Farmers' Alliance, he was consistent and lively.  But now he has gone to reap the reward of his labors.  It pains us to note his absence, but we humbly bow in submission to Him who doeth all things well.  We count our loss his eternal gain.  To his beloved family and relatives, we sympathize with you in  your bereavement; so lean upon the mighty arm of Him who is able to comfort, and 'ere long you will strike glad hands with him in eternal felicity.
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to his beloved family, and also a copy sent to the Sherman Courier and Whitesboro News for publication; and our hall be draped in mourning; and we wear the usual badge of mourning for thirty days.
