Funeral services for Charles Lindy Walker, 88, of Whitesboro will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating.  Interment will follow at the Sadler Cemetery.  He passed away on March 29, 2016, in Sherman, Texas.
He was born January 12, 1928, in Sadler, Texas, to Charles Lucas Walker and Elsie Jane Siebert.  He married Geraldine West on April 28, 1949 and was married for 66 years.
Mr. Walker retired from Southwestern Bell in 1986 after 37 years, and was the Staff Executive over Personnel and Media Distribution.  He was a member of Texas AF/AM Masonic Lodge for 60 years and he was also a member of the Grayson County Sheriff's Posse.  He attended the Sadler Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine West Walker of Whitesboro; son, Michael Lee Walker and wife, Rosalie, of Carrollton; daughter, Sherry Lynne Walker of Dallas; daughter, Paula Kay Walker and husband, Steven, of Little Elm; son, William Matthew Walker, of Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole Winston, Jessica Yadon, Allison Maciula, Daniel Lee Walker, Jacob Lindy Walker; great-grandchildren, Avery Winston, Gracyn Winston, Walker Winston, Emersyn Yadon, Connor Yadon, August Macuila, Ayra Rose Walker; sister, Patsy Tamplin and husband, Claude.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Madge McGuire, V. L.Walker, Helen Griffin, Billy Walker, and Luella Smith.
