SADLER - Funeral Services for Grace Coolidge Wolsey, 85, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Lanny Jobe officiating. Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Grace passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital - WNJ in Sherman. She was born on May 15, 1926 in Kansas to Lucian and Nellie Cora (Gustason) Cooper. She married Archie Wolsey on Dec. 31, 1944 in Kansas.

She was of the Baptist faith. Grace read her Bible every day, reading it through every year.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Wolsey of Sadler; 2 daughters, DeLauna Jobe and husband, Woody of Ringwood, Oklahoma and Denise O'Neal of Sadler; a son, Derron Woolsey and wife, Leslie of Krugerville; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister in law, Christine Cooper of Kansas.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dana "Boomer" Wolsey; a brother, Bill Cooper; and 2 sisters, Verna Lee Miller and Doris Dougherty.



Sadler - Funeral services for Archie Allman Wolsey, 91, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Lanny Jobe and Mickey Jobe officiating.  Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Archie passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at his residence in Sadler.
He was born on April 2, 1922 in Tioga, Texas to Minor Jay Wolsey and Martha Adeline (Carney) Wolsey.  He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and married Grace Coolidge Cooper on Dec. 31, 1944 in Salina, Kansas.  Archie worked in oilfield construction and was also a farmer.  He was a talented guitarist and singer and loved horses.  He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Gordonville.
Survivors include 2 daughters, DeLauna Jobe and husband, Woody of Ringwood, Oklahoma, and Denise O'Neal of Sadler; a son, Derron Wollsey and wife, Leslie of Krugerville; a sister, Lorene Dinkins of Sherman; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grace Wolsey; son, Dana Jay Wolsey; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Cox, Michael Oakley, David Woolsey, Rogers Woolsey, Doug Farrer and Logan Jobe.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O. Box 2306, Sherman, TX 75091.
