MRS. HARRISON SMITH DIES; SERVICES SET
Bells - Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church here for Mrs. Harrison (Josie) Smith, 58, who died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at her home.  Rev. Dale Moon, the pastor and Rev. Frank Rowe, Baptist minister of Sherman, will conduct services.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Earnheart Funeral Home of Whitewright.
Mrs. Smith was born January 25, 1905 in Sherman, a daughter of W.P. (William Pinkman) and Mary (Isom) Rolen.  She married Mr. Smith October 18, 1927 in Sherman.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Carl, J.M. (James Marvin), H.D. (Harold Dean) and Bobby Earl Smith of Bells; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Ruby) Duncan of Bells; one brother, F.M. (Floyd Marvin) Rolen of Bells; four sisters, Mrs. J.E. (Willie) McHone and Mrs. Maudie Baze of Sherman and Mrs. J.H. (Ola) Francis and Miss Pearl Rolen of Bells; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

HARRISON SMITH, 73 DIES; RITES SUNDAY
Bells - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church for Harrison Smith, 73, retired Bells farmer, who died at 2:15 p.m. Friday in his home here.  Rev. Dale Moon, pastor of the Church (First Baptist) and Rev. Frank Rowe of Sherman, Baptist minister, will conduct the services.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Earnheart Funeral Home of Whitewright.
Mr. Smith was born October 13, 1890 in the Pike Community near Blue Ridge.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith.  On October 18, 1922, he married Jose Fay Rolen in Sherman.  She died in 1963.  He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are four sons, Carl, J.M. (James Marvin), and Bobby Earl all of Bells and Harold Dean Smith of Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Ruby) Duncan of Bells; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Yeary of Bells and Mrs. Ment Nations of Tampa, Florida; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
