Evelyn McHone Pugh was born in Bells, Texas on September 21, 1925 and
departed this life on June 28, 2009. Funeral services were
held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery
following.
Evelyn lived all of her life in the Bells area as a housewife. Later in life she worked for 15 years at Wilson N. Jones Hospital. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and loved being a "Nana" to the grandchildren she adored. She was a bright spot in the day of everyone she met. Evelyn poured herself into the people that she loved and she had an ability to cook wonderful meals for family and friends.
