Thursday, October 7, 1971 pg. 2 Funeral services were held Friday for Elmore McCullough in the Mullican-Little Chapel with burial in Rose HilL Cemetery. He died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in a Denison hospital. Mr. McCullough was born November 25, 1895 in Pink Hill Community. He married Alice Crow July 25, 1950 [sic] there. He worked for the Katy railroad for over 30 years and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife; a son, Raymond, of Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Ted Hulett, of Garland; a brother, Asa, of Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. W.E. Sewell and Mrs. Fannie Washburn, of Bells; two grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. The family request that memorials be made to the cancer fund.
