Funderburk Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements for the burial Thursday morning in Bells of Thomas Evan Tuck, 614 W. Day, who died at home Wednesday after two years of illness.
Tuck was born in Alabama October 3, 1866  [sic] and was married in Bells in 1912 to Alpha Hodge.  He was a retired railroad man and had been employed by the Katy and TP railroads.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his widow; four sons, A.E. Tuck of Wichita Falls; Lee Tuck of Beaumont; Ollie Tuck of Los Angeles; Arthur Tuck of Ft. Worth; and a step-son, Dee Smith of Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Horn of Ft. Worth; Mrs. Minnie Stanley of Abilene; and Mrs. D.E. Petty of Denison; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers at the funeral were James McBride, Ralph Duncan, Ray Duncan, W.I. Lewis, L.A. West, Hap Dotson, and Bill Puckett.
