Essie Fay Ford died Apr 17, 2001 at a local nursing home. She was born September 10, 1912 in Savoy, Texas, daughter of Hosea Monroe Rose and Pearl Smith Rose. She married Walter Monroe Duncan. After his death she married Walter Ford on April 15, 1957. She is survived by daughter, June Watson; son David Duncan; brother Monroe Rose, Jr.; sisters, Elva Goracke, Treva Catlett, Winnie Oden; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by step-children, Florence Kirby, Audie Ford, Faye Wrenn and Roy Duncan. She was preceded by two sisters and three brothers; step-children Ralph and Marshall Duncan and Dutch Puckett. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bells, Texas.
