Services for Mrs. Vera Kay Stone, 72, who was killed in an accident near Bonham at 6 p.m. Sunday, were held Wednesday in Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Stone was born August 1, 1897 in the Bells community, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Moore.  She married Grady Stone January 17, 1920 in Bells. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church.
Rev. Bob Cody, Baptist minister from Savoy and Charles Kuhn, Church of Christ minister of Honey Grove, officiated with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Millican-Little Funeral Home.
Survivors are her husband, Grady Stone of Savoy Nursing Home; two daughters, Mrs. G.A. Feagan of Bells and Mrs. C.J. Musser of Denison; one sister, Mrs. P.L. Beckham of Savoy; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services for Grady Stone, 76, were held last Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel.  Allan Henderson, minister of Savoy Church of Christ, and Rev. Thomas Beall, Baptist minister of Sherman, officiated with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Stone, a farmer, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday in a nursing home in Savoy after a long illness.
Mr. Stone was born October 17, 1895, in the Ida community, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Stone.  He married Vera E. Moore January 19, 1920.  She preceded him in death, May 24, 1970.  He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the Army and was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church.  He farmed in the Ambrose community most of his life.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. G.A. Feagan of Bells and Mrs. C.J. Musser of Denison; two brothers, Atlas Stone and W.H. Stone, both of Denison; one sister, Mrs. Grace McManus of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Ambrose - Funeral for Evelyn (nee Stone) Feagan, 68, of Ambrose, who died Tuesday in a Sherman hospital were at
3 p.m. Thursday in Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Revs. Wallace Mynatt
and Houston Garner officiated.

Mrs. Feagan was born January 17, 1921, in Ambrose, daughter of Grady and Vera Stone. She married G.A. "Doc" Feagan October 22, 1941, in Sherman.
Mrs. Feagan was a member of the Bells Church of Christ and had worked in the environmental services of Wilson N. Jones Hospital for 23 years.
Surviving are her husband of Ambrose; daughter, Carolyn Young of Killeen; sister, ElWanda Musser of Denison; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
