Services for John Marvin Everheart, 94, of Bells were held Sunday afternoon at the Bells First United Methodist Church.  Mr. Everheart died Friday in a Whitewright nursing home.
Services were conducted by Rev. Lawrence Smith of the First United Methodist Church of Bells with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Earnheart Funeral Home.
Mr. Everheart was born in Bells, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey Everheart.  He married Miss Pearl Cardwell on August 10, 1909 in Bells.  A retired bookkeeper, he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: son, Jack Everheart of Ft. Worth; brother, Everett Everheart Lamesa; and one grandson.
Pallbearers were W.E. Dugan, Ralph Duncan, O.B. Dulaney, Floyd Woodson, S.T. Mitchell, and M.G. Ramsey.
