BELLS - Barbara Donihoo, 71-year-old Bells resident, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Texoma Health Care in Sherman. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy.  Officiating was Rev. Bill Neal Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bells. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Donihoo was born on June 4, 1938 in Van Alstyne, Texas, daughter of Clyde and Johnnie Miller Burrow, and was a graduate of Van Alstyne High School. On September 13, 1959 she married Vernon Donihoo.
Barbara worked at the Sherman Police Department for many years, and then went to work at the Behavioral Health Center. Barbara was a very loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmothers. She will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed. "Fly on the wings of the angels into heaven, nanny. You will forever be missed.:
Pallbearers were Michael Phillips, Brandon Isom, Tyler Donihoo, Johnny White and Thomas and T.C. Morgan.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Vernon Donihoo of Bells; daughters, Suzanne Morgan of Denison, Texas and Shawn Isom of Bells; sons, James Donihoo of Savoy; and Mark Donihoo and Larry Donihoo, both of Bells; brothers, James Burrow of Howe; Gary Kuhel of Wills Point, Texas; Billy Gene Kuhel of Colorado City, Texas; and Johnny Le Scoggins of Tioga, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dickie Kuhel and Ronnie Burrow; and her beloved son, Emmett Donihoo.


Graveside services for Vernon Donihoo, 82, were held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bill Neal, Jr. of First Baptist Church in Bells  officiated.
Vernon passed away at his residence in Ravenna on Saturday. Vernon was born January 7, 1934 in McKinney, Texas to Homer and Jewell Donihoo. He married Barbara Jack Burrow on September 13, 1959. He was a retired truck driver.
Vernon is survived by his son James Donihoo of Colbert, Oklahoma; daughter Shawn Isom and her husband, Brandon, of Ravenna; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law Thomas Morgan of Denison.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara; daughter Suzanne Morgan; sons Emmett, Larry and Mark Donihoo; and grandson Trevor Donihoo.
