Thursday, August 27, 1970 pg. 8 Services for Mrs. Rilla [sic] E. Dicken, 95, were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mullican-Little Funeral chapel. She died Monday at 5:45 a.m. in a Savoy rest home. Mrs. Dicken was born January 5, 1875 in Overton County, Tennessee, and married John B. Dicken in Grayson County in 1900. He preceded her in death in 1957. She had lived in Bells since 1920 and was a member of the Methodist Church. Rev. Lawrence Smith of Bells and Allen Henderson, Church of Christ minister of Savoy, officiated with the burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors are one son, J.B. Dicken of Bells; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Mitchell of Bonham; 2 sisters, Mrs. Delia Miller of Calera and Mrs. Lena Davis of Ralls; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
