Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Mae Moore Wilburn, 53, wife of Henry C. Wilburn of 229 West Gandy, Denison, were held Sunday at the Bells Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Harold Cates and Rev. Guy Purdue.  Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Bells.
Born in Bells on December 17, 1892 [sic], Mrs. Wilburn died in a Sherman hospital on her 38th wedding anniversary.  She and Mr. Wilburn were married at Bells but had lived in Denison for 22 years.  Mrs. Wilburn was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Claude Wilburn of Oakland, California; H.C. Wilburn, Jr. and Cecil Wilburn of Denison; one daughter, Mrs. Ed Jones of Denison; three brothers, Earl J. Moore and Fred Moore, both of Bells; and Claude R. Moore of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Johnson of Whitewright; Mrs. Carl Allred of Bells; and Mrs. Aubrey Essary of Dallas; four grandchildren; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Moore of Bells.
