Thursday, October 11, 1923 pg. 1 Lloyd Moore was called to Bells last Friday to direct the funeral and burial service for Mrs. Jesse Linn Houston, who died Thursday of last week. The funeral was held at the Pink Hill Baptist Church and was conducted by Rev. J.A. Henderson. Interment was in the cemetery east of Bells. Mrs. Houston was born September 14, 1905 and is survived by her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Mitchell, who reside two and one-half miles northwest of Bells.
