Services were held at 10:00 Tuesday in the Mullican-Little Chapel for R.V. "Butch" Wilson, 89, who died early Sunday in a Whitewright Nursing home after a long illness.  Rev. A.D. Campbell of Sherman officiated and burial was in the Rosehill Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born December 8, 1880 in Scottsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wilson.  He married Miss Henrietta Hawkins October 12, 1902 in WHitewright.  She preceded him in death in 1960.  Mr. Wilson operated a grocery store and meat market in Bells for 37 years.
Survivors include five sons: Howard and Hubert Wilson, both of Bells; Chester Wilson of Muleshoe; Robert M. Wilson of Sherman; and Guy Wilson of Dallas.  Four daughters: Mrs. W.J. Scoggins of Ft. Worth; Mrs. Martin Banberger of Jetmore, Kansas; Mrs. J.L. Strong of Arlington and Mrs. Curtis Mitchen of Ft. Worth; 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
