MORRISON RITES ARE PENDING
Bells - Walter J. Morrison, Sr., 86, died in a Sherman hospital at 10:30 Monday, October 23, 1972 following a lengthy illness.
Funeral arrangements with Mullican-Little directing were incomplete at noon Tuesday.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Bells.
Mr. Morrison was born October 24, 1885 at Bells, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Morrison.  He married Lela Garner December 23, 1905 in Bells.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist church and a retired farmer.  He attended the Hebron school and was a graduate of the Dallas Business University.
Survivors are three sons, Leon Morrison of Mount Laguna, California; Walter Morrison, Jr. and James L. Morrison, both of Sherman; four daughters, Mrs. Opal E. Lang of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Mrs. Jewel Thompson of Bells; and Mrs. Neal Emerson and Mrs. Hazel Hawk, both of Denison; three brothers,Charlie and George Morrison of Wichita Falls; and Frank Morrison of Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Lige Christman of Corpus Christi; Mrs. Bill Wooster of Holiday; and Mrs. John Horne of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
