BELLS - Our mother has gone to be with the Lord. Charlcie Washburn passed from this earthly life May 28, 2006. She was
a servant of the Lord, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her 87 years were spent sharing the Lord as Bible class teacher, a helpmate to her husband, Wes, at the Washburn Hardware Store, and as a pattern for a Godly woman.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy with Mr. Charles Wrenn officiating. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells.
Charlcie was born December 2, 1918, the daughter of Charlie and Rena Eden Anderson. She married David Wesley "Wes" Washburn on September 17, 1948 in Whitewright, Texas.  
Charlcie was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, David and Lee Ann Washburn of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Kenneth and Sharon Washburn of Bells; brother, Coy Anderson of Richardson; sister, Nell Lamb of Bells; grandchildren, Kenneth and Jennifer Washburn, Melissa and Roger Virgin, Tracy and Marc Liverman, and Kimilee Washburn; great-grandchildren, Garrett and Courtney Virgin and Dakota and Emily Washburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her brother, Otis Anderson; and sisters, Juanita Ford and Christine Booth.
