Bells - Lynn Brown, 89-year-old Bells resident, died Monday, June 2, 2002,  at the Mullican Care Center in Savoy.  Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Antioch Baptist Church, west of Bells.  Dr. Lowell Howard of the church officiated with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells.  Masonic services were held at the graveside.  Mr. Brown was born on March 5, 1913, in Bells, Texas, son of Cam Brown and May Johnson Brown.  He attended Pink Hill School. In 1939, he married Marie Swindell.  Lynn worked for the Frisco Railroad and retired from Anderson Clayton Company in Sherman.
He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and Bells Masonic Lodge #798, where he was a 32nd degree Mason and the Scottish Rite.
Grandchildren served as pallbearers.

BELLS - Funeral services for Marie Brown, 91, of Bells were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Lowell Howard and Dr. Bill Neal Jr. officiated, and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
She died Saturday, May 29, 2010, in Homestead of Sherman.
Mrs. Brown was born March 28, 1919, in Greenville, the daughter of Noah and Bonnie Marshall Swindell. She attended school in Sherman, and married Lynn Brown in 1940.
Marie was a homemaker and a member of Bells Order of Eastern Star. She was a long time member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Ronnie "Buggs" Brown and his wife, Sandra; and Woody Brown and his wife, Janet, all of Bells; and 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Raymond Brown; daughter, Donna Branch; granddaughter, Rhonda Brown; and five brothers and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marie's memory to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8, Bells, TX 75414 or the donor's favorite charity.
