Jenkins was born in Morehouse, Missouri on November 1, 1932. He departed on July 20, 2007 and resided in Bells, Texas.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, July 24, 2007 interment following at Rose Hill Cemetery. Bill moved to Raymondville, Texas from Missouri in 1948 and then in 1980 he and his family moved to Bells, Texas where he owned and operated a laundry and was an auto mechanic.
