Flint - Services for Opal Young, 84, Flint, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bells United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home, Bells. Mrs. Young died Saturday in a Tyler hospital. Born April 17, 1912 in Bells, daughter of J.L. Jernigan and Margaret Jernigan, she was a homemaker and member of Bells United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Waldrip, Flint; brother, Earl Jernigan, Albuquerque, New Mexico; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Family suggests memorials be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, Dallas.   Houston C.
