Glen W. Erickson
16 June 1933 - 20 December 1990


Mildred Louise Erickson of Bells, Texas passed away December 15, 2018.
She was born May 2, 1936 in Coleman, Oklahoma, daughter of Clyde Barron and Opal Dilbeck Barron.
Mildred attended school at Savoy. Texas.  She arroed Glen W. Erickson on December 17, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mildred worked for over 10 years for E-Systems as an Electronic Technician.  While living and raising her family in Caddo Mills, they owned and operated "Erick's Restaurant" in Royce City for over 10 years, and then, catered weddings and special events.  She loved to readd and shop with her sister, Hazel.  She enjoyed camping and cookouts with family at Lake Texoma.  She was an excellent cook, known for her chicken fried steak and red beans.  She took care of everybody, providing nurture when neeeded.  Mildred was a loving wife, mother and granny who will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, determination, and feisty "Mildred-isms" when told "see you later" her words were, "Lord willing and the creeks don't rise."  A special thanks to Hazel and Donna for caring and helping with all of her needs, when necessary.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Townsend of Bells; daughter, Cecile Allen of Bells; and daughter, Bobbie Mashaney and husband, Royd, of North Pole, Alaska; grandsons, Matt Townsend and wife, Mallory, of Sherman; and Cody Allen and wife, Erica, of Howe; granddaughter, Carrie Prather and husband, Ron, of Tom Bean; great-grandchildren, Caden, Carson, Emmi, Colt, Kenzie, Kalie, Easton and one on the way; sisters, Hazel Garner and husband, Clyde, of Bells; and Betty Snow and husband, Sonny, of Pilot Point; brothers, Rex Barron and wife, Linda, of Coleman, Oklahoma; and Reggie Barron of Durant, Oklahoma; dear nephew, Jerry Shores of Coleman, Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Joey Erickson; sister, Helen Shores; brothers, Neil Barron and Wendell Barron.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, December 19, 2018 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. - - - Mullican-Little Funeral Home
