Funeral services for Betty Jean Duree, 72 year old Bells resident, were set for 2 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells. Officiating was Rev. Jim Poole. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells following the chapel service.  Those serving as pallbearers were Warren Duree, Craig Bennett, Korey Durham, Kyler Durham, Michael Duree, Thomas Duree and James Duree.

Betty was born to Joseph and Estie (Clark) Francis on January 4, 1941 in Latimer County, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Denison, Texas. She married Frank Edmond Duree in 1966 in Sherman, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended schools in Latimer County, Oklahoma and Hale Center, Texas; she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bells.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.

Betty is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Duree and Lea-Ann of Durant, Mark Bennett of Wichita Falls, Warren Duree and Lindsay of Sherman; three daughters, Mary Carter and David McCraw of Ravenna, Tincey Cook of Ada, and Sandra Bennett of Bells; brother, Marvin Francis of McAlester; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
