Sherman, Tex., April 2. - George H. Bell, aged 47 years, died Friday at his home in Preston after an illness of three weeks. Death was due to an attack of grip and a complication of other diseases. He had lived in Preston thirty-six years and was well and favoraby known throughout Grayson County. He leaves a wife and five children, four sons and one daughter, all of whom are under 18 years of age.
The funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the residence by Rev. D. F. Fuller of Bells, and  the remains were interred at Preston.

MRS. MARY BELL DIES AT VERNON; LIVED AT PRESTON
Mrs. Mary Frazier Bell, 71, who made her home at Preston Bend, died at Vernon Friday afternoon.  She was ill for the past five months.  Funeral services were conducted at Preston Methodist church at 3:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Paul Cardwell officiating.  Interment will be at Preston with Short-Murray directing.
Mrs. Bell was born at Preston, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. James D. Frazier.  She was married at Preston Feb. 13, 1889, to George Bell.  She lived the entire time of her life in the home of her birth and has been a member of the Methodist church for the past fifty-five years.  Her husband died March 30, 1906.
At the time of her death she was visiting a son in Vernon, while on her way home from a visit with a daughter in California.
Surviving are three sons, Tom and J.D. of Vernon and Rosser Bell of Preston.  A daughter, Mrs. W.T. Wesson, lives at Riverside, Calif.
The remains rested at the Short-Murray parlors until funeral time Saturday.
Pall bearers will be Bud Jackson, Walter Brennan, T.W. Riddle, J.W. Kennedy, Ed Judd and J.T. Bryant.
