  Elainna Gail Murphy 28 September 1966 - 26 January 1971 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, January 28, 1971 pg.10 Elainna Gail Murphy, age 4, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, January 26, 1971 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Services were held on January 28, in Earnheart Chapel in Whitewright. Services were conducted by Grady Lankford, minister of the Church of Christ in Van Alstyne, and Connie Hollis, minister of the Church of Christ in Leonard. Burial was in the Pilot Grove Cemetery. Born September 28, 1966 in Whitewright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Murphy, the deceased is survived by her parents of Whitewright; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Murphy, Whitewright and Mr. and Mrs. Garland Hickman, Blue Ridge; great-grandmother Mrs. Edna Murphy of Whitewright. Pallbearers were Glen Hickman, Leo Hickman, Bobby Murphy and Jimmy Murphy. The deceased accidentally drank arsenic acid about 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the home of the baby sitter.
