Funeral services for John H. Miller, 75, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Earnheart Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Dale Gore.  Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Ralph Skipworth, Virgil Skipworth, Richard, Ashmore, Horace Miller, George Binion and Earl Fields.
Mr. Miller was born December 2, 1886 in the Little Rock community, south of Whitewright.  He married Miss Pearl Cowan on November 11, 1906 at Little Rock.  He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Whitewright; two brothers, C.C. of Trenton and Sam of Van Alstyne.

Services for Mrs. John H. Miller, 82, were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Earnheart Funeral chapel.  She died Tuesday morning in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Miller was born August 30, 1889 in Eden, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Cowan.  She married John H. Miller November 11, 1906 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death August 7, 1962.  She was a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church.
Rev. Douglas Rymer officiated with burial in Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Survivors are several nieces and nephews, including Roy and Earl Blanton, both of Whitewright.
