Our family suffered a great loss on Thursday, April 6, 2023.  Rose lost her battle after a stint in the hospital due to a stroke she suffered on February 12, 2023.
She was preceded indeath by her parents, Frances Rose Freeburn and Walter Lee Bunch.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joe Earl Morris of Sherman; sons, Joe Mark Morris of Sherman; and John Michael Morris and wife, Marla, of Sherman; foster sons: Raymond Hernandez of Rhome, Texas; and Frank Lightfoot of Austin, Texas; grandchildren: Codi Joe Morris and wife, Manda of Sherman; Maranda Shea Scoggin and husband, Kori, of Kingston, Oklahoma; Cory Wade Morris and wife, Brittney, of Bonham; and Jeremy Michael Morris of Sherman; step-grandson,
Chistofer Taylor Smith and wife, Jennifer, of Bells; 8 loving great-grandchildren and one she is holding in heaven.  Two brothers: Raymond Frederick Bunch of Sherman and Danny Lee Bunch and wife, Gayle, of Hillsboro; one half-sister, Tammy Bean of Tom Bean; 3 stepsisters, Debbie Gilbert of Savoy; Cindy Howland of Sherman; and Cheryl Butler of  Ardmore,
Oklahoma.
Her contributions to the lives of many include a great work ethic and punctuality, even if it mean getting there at least an hour early no matter where she went.  She loved reading, crocheting, and packing snacks for everyone.
She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, foster mom, mom to exchange students from Campeche, Mexico; grandparent, great-grandparent; loving aunt; and great older sister.  Her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she interacted with.   She was considered Mom to many, and Mammaw to many more.
