Wednesday, August 18, 1976 pg.2 Services for Robert W. Taylor, 69, were held at Earnheart Funeral chapel in Whitewright at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Charles Pierce, minister of Bethel Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Grove cemetery near Whitewright. Born September 15, 1906 in Pilot Grove, he married Vera Belle Hunter May 14, 1927 in Rose Hill. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a retired truck driver for a transit company. Surviving are his wife; three daughters; two brothers; two sisters; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
