  Spencer L. Doty 16 May 1940 - 14 March 2014 Spencer Ladell Doty was born in Quinlan, Texas on May 16, 1940 to Ettie Luella Doty. He attended Antioch Baptist Church
in Palestine, Texas. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing gospel music. He was a loving father and grandpa to all his children. He was preceded in death by his son David Doty, daughter Sheri Thornton and a daughter in infancy, brothers Norman Doty and Earl Wayne Doty. He is survived by a son Michael, daughter Christie Hicks, sisters Nelda White, Betty De Luna, grandchildren Amanda Chapman and many others.
