Sherman, Texas - Byron Neathery passed away Friday, February 24, 2017; he was born November 12, 1930 in Whitewright, Texas, the son of Roy and Vee Ball Neathery.  Byron married Laura Charlene Thornhill on November 28, 1950 in Whitewright.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas; Mr. Rusty Sherry and Mr. Ken Mullins officiated; burial followed in Pilot Grove Cemetery south of Whitewright.
Byron Neathery is survived by his sons, Mark Neathery and wife, Cheryl, of Whitewright and Tim Neathery and wife, Katrina, of North Richland Hills; daughters Patsy Mickelson and husband, Mickey, of Whitewright; Nancy Dodson and husband, Jimmy, of Tom Bean; and Jan Griffin and husband, Jay, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; brother, Jack Neathery and wife, Ethel, of Klondike, Texas; sisters, Marjorie Grimes of Grand Prairie; June Washburn and husband, Ken, of Pottsboro; Brynda Clay of Grand Prairie; Jane Bearden and husband, John, of Ravenna; and Linda Knorpp and husband, Jim, of Ft. Worth; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Joe Frank Robinson of Pottsboro; and sister-in-law, Lois Neathery of Granbury.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents; wife Charlene; brother, Maurice Neathery; sister, Mattie Heed and her husband, Ray; and sister, Anna Bess Robinson.
Byron was a member of Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman and had retired from Texas Instruments after 36 years of service. - - - Mullican-Little Funeral Home

Sherman - Charlene Neathery passed away December 2, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family after an extended illness.  She was born March 8, 1934 in Whitewright, daughter of William Caleb Thornhill and Alta Kidd Thornhill.   She married Robert Byron Neathery November 18, 1950 in Whitewright.  To this marriage was born daughters Patsy, Nancy and Jan and sons, Mark and Tim.
Charlene was a member of Tom Bean Church of Christ and had retired from Whitewright ISD cafeteria after 21 years of service.  She attended Whitewright schools.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, December 7, 2010 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy with Mr. Danny Hill and Mr. Robert Embry officiating.   Interment was in Pilot Grove Cemetery. 
Charlene is survived by her husband of 60 years; mother, Alta Thornhill of Savoy; daughter, Patsy Mickelson and husband, Mickey, of Sherman; daughter, Nancy Dodson and husband, Jimmy, of Tom Bean; daughter, Jan Griffin and husband, Jay, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; son, Mark Neathery and wife, Cheryl of Whitewright; son, Tim Neathery and wife, Katrina, of North Richland Hills; brother, Gene Thornhill and wife, Paula, of Coppell; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Charlene was preceded in death by her father and sister, Peggye Woodson.
Pallbearers were Mark and Tim Neathery; Jimmy Dodson; Jay and Heath Griffin; Mickey, Kyle and Cory Mickelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charlene's name to Home Hospice of Grayson County.
