VETERAN ROAD WORKER DIES AT TOM BEAN
A.K. Sparks, 49, county road maintenance man for the Tom Bean, Whitewright and Pilot Grove area for twenty years, died Thursday night at his home following a heart attack.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Tom Bean Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Guy W. Sparks of Sherman and James Sparks and Eugene Sparks, students at the University of Texas; a stepson, M.M. Davis of Wolfe City; a brother, J.F. Sparks of Westminister; and three sisters, Mrs. N.H. Murray of Hedley, Mrs. P.H. Pallis and Mrs. Mitchell McMath, both of Snyder.
