Thursday, December 16, 1926 John Reynolds, 71, died at his home in the Little Rock community, southwest of town, at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, following a short illness. Mr. Reynolds was born in Tennessee August 16, 1855 [sic], and was married to Miss Mary Mitchell, May 4, 1873, and for the past 30 years made his home in this section. He was known to his friends as "Uncle Johnnie." Mr. Reynolds is survived by his aged wife and 13 children, 76 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. The following are the names of the children: Dave Reynolds, Los Angeles, California Robert Reynolds, Anna Mrs. C.C. Hazelip, Randolph Mrs. William Magers, Sherman Mrs. Mull Binion, Ambrose Mrs. Ed Henderson, Trenton Ben Reynolds, Randolph Mrs. Tom Millerm Van Alstyne Mrs. Robert Wortham, Sherman Simon Reynolds, John Reynolds, Mrs. J.A. Henderson and Mrs. D.B. Andrews of the community southwest of town. The funeral service was held at the family residence Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Cash of Leonard and Rev.
