Services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Earnheart Funeral Chapel for Roy H. Neathery, 67, of Grand Prairie, who died Monday at 6:30 p.m. in a Dallas hospital.  Burial will be in Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Neathery was born May 16, 1903 in Trenton, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Neathery.  He married Miss Vee Ball May 3, 1922 in Cannon.  Mr. Neathery was a member of the Church of Christ, where he served as Elder and song leader.  After retiring as a farmer, he was employed at LTV in Grand Prairie until his death.
Survivors include his wife of Grand Prairie; three sons, Maurice R. Neathery of Florida, Robert Byron Neathery of Whitewright and Jackie B. Neathery of Arlington; seven daughters, Mrs. Ray Heed, Mrs. Kenneth Nelms, and Mrs. Leigh Moseman, all of Dallas; Mrs. Joe F. Robinson of Whitewright and Mrs. C.W. Grimes, Mrs. Roger Louis and Mrs. Brenda Tolison, all of Grand Prairie; and 22 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J.W. Andrews, Jack Andrews, Johnny Watkins, Jack Hunter, Grasson Harlowe and Hubert Hartin.
