Funeral services for Mrs. Charley S. Neathery, 81, are to be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Earnheart Chapel, conducted by Rev. LeRoy Martin of Sherman.  Burial will be in Pilot Grove Cemetery. 
Serving as pallbearers will be six grandsons, Coy Joe Vandagriff, James Vandagriff, James Johnson, James Edwards, Claude Riddle and Doyle Files.
Mrs. Neathery died in her sleep Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.G. Vandagriff, at Penn Apartments.
Born May 23, 1873, at Nashville, Tennessee, Mrs. Neathery was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Creswell.  She came to the Pilot Grove community with her parents at the age of 12 years, and was married to Mr. Neathery August 30, 1900.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, O.R. Neathery of Lubbock; one stepson, C.P. Neathery of Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. Coy Jones of Sherman, Mrs. Clarence Murphy of Pilot Grove, and Mrs. H.G. Vandagriff of Whitewright; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jim Grider of Whitewright; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
