Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. in Earnheart Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Callie Lane, 79, of Pilot Grove, who died Sunday morning.  She was the widow of J.D. Lane.
Rev. C.J. Graves of Sherman and Rev. H.P. Williamson of Pilot Grove, Methodist ministers, conducted the services.  Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Lane was born April 27, 1880 in Tennessee, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Taylor.  She and Mr. Lane were married in 1929 in Van Alstyne.  He died in 1955.  She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are three step-sons, Weldon Lane of Sedalia, Elford Lane of Plano, and Barrett Lane Oklahoma; three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Blake of Madill, Oklahoma; Mrs. Nova Jaquess of Ada, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Paralee Barbee of Sherman; one brother, Dave Taylor of Pilot Grove; 12 step-grandchildren,
and 22 step-great-grandchildren.
