Several friends of the family from Whitewright attended the funeral at Sherman Sunday of Mrs. Fred N. Holloway, 25, who died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in that city Saturday.  Interment was in the Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway was the former Miss Ira Davis, whose father, Ira Davis, was killed by an electric wire in Whitewright a few weeks before she was born.  She attended school at Tom Bean and on April 4, 1929 was married to Mr. Holloway, who is employed at a Sherman flour mill.
Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. A.K. Sparks of Tom Bean; one son, Maurice Eugene Holloway; a brother, M.M. Davis of Sherman; and three half-brothers, Guy, James and Eugene Sparks of Tom Bean.
