Garland 20 November 1927 - 14 April 1931 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, April 23, 1931 pg.5 Billie David, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Loy Garland of the Pilot Grove community, died Tuesday of last week. The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Pilot Grove Cemetery with Rev. J.A. Henderson, pastor of the Baptist Church at Pilot Grove, in charge. Billie David was stricken with scarlet fever 4 days preceding his death. He was a bright little boy and his death brought sorrow to a large group of relatives and friends.
