Bourland 2 October 1932 - 29 February 2016 wed 24 June 1953 James Reed Bourland, 83, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Park Place Manor in Belton, Texas. Graveside services were Friday, March 4, 2016, at Pilot Grove Cemetery, Pilot Grove,
Texas. Officiating the service was Brother Duane Peters. James was born in Collin County, Texas, to the late Rev. Ross O. Bourland and Patsy Irene Anderson Bourland. He married Hazel McMillin on June 24, 1953, in McKinney, Texas. James was a retired bus driver for the Tom Bean Public Schools. He was a member of the Inspiration Point Cowboy Church in Tom Bean. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Hazel Bourland; and brothers, Billy and Clayton Bourland. Survivors include his son, Ron Bourland and wife, Carla, of Belton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
