FUNERAL HERE TODAY FOR TOM BINION
Funeral services are to be held at 3 p.m. today at the Church of Christ for Tom Binion, who died suddenly at a Dallas hospital at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.  He underwent an operation about three weeks ago and was expecting to leave the hospital in a day or two when he passed away.  Burial will be in Pilot Grove Cemetery, directed by Earnheart.  The funeral service will be conducted by C.T. McCormack of Dallas.
Mr. Binion was born November 18, 1897, in Pilot Grove, son of Mr. and Mrs.  R.E.L. Binion.  His mother died when he was a small boy and his aunt, Miss Sarah Binion, a sister of R.E.L. Binion, took the mother's place in the home and helped to rear the motherless boy and his brother and sister.
Mr. Binion married Miss Edith McAfee of near Trenton 20 years ago.  Three years ago they moved from Pilot Grove to Vickery, near Dallas.  At the time of his death they were residing at Copperas Cove, near Temple.  Mr. Binion was employed at Camp Hood when he was taken ill. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; his father; one brother, Lee Binion of Dallas; one sister, Miss Pauline Binion; and his aunt.
