DEATH OF PETER HEMMI
Mr. Peter Hemmi, a citizen of southwest Denison, died Saturday and Sunday evening the remains were interred in Oakwood Cemetery.  The ceremonies were conducted under the auspices of the Sons of Herman, both lodges taking part in the exercises.  Despite the intense heat the Lodges were represented almost to a man and the members marched from the residence to the grave, in Oakwood Cemetery, and then back to the city.  They were accompanied by the band and at the grave the singing section rendered a dirge.  Mr. Hemmi had made his home in Denison for six or more years and was employed in the Missouri, Kansas & Texas shops, John Doyle's department.  His death was the result of a carbuncle and consequent blood-poisoning
