DEATHS
Funeral services where held at Bratcher-Moore chapel  Monday afternoon for Lon F. Williams of 317 E. Chestnut, a retired farmer, who died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon.  Dr. H.C. Henderson was the officiating minister and Bratcher-Moore was in charge of arrangements.  Interment was in Oakwood.
Mr. Williams was born in Bastrop, Texas, December 8, 1876. the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams.  He received is schooling in Waxahachie, and was married in 1903 to Miss Ella Lee Carpenter.  He had been a member of the Methodist church since he was 14.
Survivors include his widow, three sons, A.W. Williams, Las Vegas, Nevada; John W. Williams, Denison; Lon F. Williams, Jr., Lawton, Oklahoma; three daughters, Mrs. J.L. McBee, Denison; Mrs. E.A. Jones, Dallas, and Miss Cleva Dell Williams, Denison; and two sisters, Mrs. Mrs. G.M. Hawkins, Hugo, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Rosie Williams, Denison.
