Widow's 7 Year Old Son Drown in Tank. 
Denton, June 23 - Seven year old Harmon Lee Harris drowned Thursday afternoon in a stock tank on the farm of an uncle, six miles north of here. He was the son of Mrs. Ivan Harris, Denison, She and her eight children were here at the bedside of her father, who is critically ill. Her husband died about a month ago.
Several children were swimming in the tank when the others noticed Harmon Lee was missing. They called the uncle, Herman Trielsch, and other adults. The body was recovered about 45 minutes later.
Justice of the Peace, Z. D. Lewis returned a verdict of accidental drowning. Funeral plans were incomplete.

Denton Man, Kin Die 7 Hours Apart
H.C. Belcher, 66, died at his home here seven hours after his grandson drowned in a stock tank.
The child, Harmon Lee Harris, 7, of Denison, drowned Thursday on the farm of an uncle, Herman Trietsch, six miles north of here. He had come to Denton with his mother to be at the bedside of Belcher, who had been critically ill following a stroke.
The boy's father died three months ago.
The body of the boy was returned to Denison for funeral services. He is survived by seven brothers and a sister.
Belcher, a retired farmer, lived in Denton County forty-eight years. Survivors include his wife, five sons, five daughters, a sister, two brothers and twenty-four grandchildren.

HARMON LEE HARRIS
Harmon Lee Harris, age 8, who was drowned in a stock pond on his grandfather's place in Denton, was buried in Oakwood cemetery Saturday after funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel with the Rev. W.O. Buey of Trinity Methodist church officiating.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. I.J. Harris, 1104-1/2 East Texas; seven brothers and sisters.
His father died in March of this years, and his grandfather C. H. Belcher died the day after the boy was drowned.  
The family was at the bedside of the grandfather when the accident occurred.
