Scott died at Houston where he had resided for the past 15 years. He died suddenly of a heart attack. Born near Ambrose, April 11, 1909, his parents were Mr. and Mrs. Jim W. Scott. He was married to Miss Hattie Wagner. He followed the trade of a painter. Surviving are his widow, and his mother, Mrs. Bell Scott. Also surviving are Claude Scott and Willard Scott, brothers, of Abilene. Sisters surviving are Mesdames C.F. Oliphant, Gallup, New Mexico; L.R. Ferguson, Lubbock; J.R. Richardson, Dallas; and W.S. Stroope, Denison.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
