OBITUARY
Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday afternoon for Sterling H. Tracy, 65, who died in Sherman Wednesday after a 3 day illness.  Rev. H.F. Crews, minister of the Nazarene Church, officiated, and interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
Tracy, a retired Katy carman, was born in Grandberry, February 3, 1889, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.H. Tracy.  He attended school in Dublin, Texas, and was married in Pittsburg in 1913 to Miss Hattie Smith.  He was a member of the Methodist church.  The Tracy home is at 1225 S. Fannin.
Survivors include his widow; 3 sons, Buster Tracy, Amarillo; Leon Tracy, USN, San Diego; Lloyd of Denison; 4 brothers, B.G. Tracy, W.N. Tracy and T.F. Tracy, all of San Antonio; and Joe Tracy of Denison; 2 sisters, Mrs. J.L. Galbreath, Denison; and Mrs. Emmett Nix, Corpus Christi; and 7 grandchildren.
