Child Dead - Mother Injured
Denison, Texas, August 5 - Thursday evening while the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Willard of 831 West Texas street was playing with a toy stove, her clothing caught fire and she was so severely burned she died this morning.
The mother, who was very ill with typhoid fever, made a heroic effort to save the child's life, was severely burned herself and is in a very critical condition today.

A SAD ACCIDENT
Francis E. Willard, a little girl aged 8 years, was burned to death Thursday afternoon at her home in the southwest portion of the city.  The child was playing with a toy stove at the time of the accident.  It is supposed that she was introducing gasoline into the stove which ignited.
The funeral took place to-day (Saturday), the interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
