Eileen Clair Smith, 85, slipped peacefully away into the arms of Jesus Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Homestead of Denison,
Mrs. Smith was born January 6, 1933 in Buffalo, New York, one of 11 children born to James and Rosina Duffin O'Hanlon. She married the love of her life, Boyd Smith. Eileen loved gardening and taking care of her flowers.
Mrs. Smith leaves behind her family: husband of Denison; Patricia Layton and husband, Jim, of Howe; son, Joe Smith and wife, Rayna, of Cartwright, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia St. Louis and Sharon Roberts, both of North Tonawanda, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Smith.
Graveside service was held Saturday morning, September 29, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Denison with Deacon Gary Vogel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude's Hospital, Memorial & Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000m, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148-0142.

Boyd Ray Smith was born March 18, 1934, son of Sam and Lou Smith. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. Boyd married Eileen O'Hanion. He died Thursday, February 4, 2021.
He is survived by children, Pat Layton and spouse, Jim; and Joe Smith and spouse, Rayna; grandchildren, Valerie, Beverly, Trinity, Emerald; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kayla, Kayli, Annie, Amerlia; great-great-grandchildren, Lilly and Elena.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and son, Michael Smith.
A memorial graveside service with military honors was held Thursday morning, February 18, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery, Denison, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
